Great American Train Tour
Overview: There is no better way to see and experience the American heartland than by rail. On a train, you see sights you are not able to see strapped into an aircraft seat 30,000 feet up, or on a bus or car which are restricted to the built up highways. The train meanders its way over mountains, canyons, across the prairies, along coastal revealing the vastness and the contrasts of the American countryside.

South America Spring Tour and Cruise
Overview: South America is a continent that is as spectacular as it is varied. While we cant hope to show you everything, in the short time available we aim to open up some of the highlights of Brazil, Argentina and Chile where altitude is not a problem and where our excellent accommodation will allow you to enjoy this “adventure in comfort”. We start the tour in Rio de Janiero, where they say that when God created the world, he needed an extra day for Rio. We then travel to Iguassu Falls bordering Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay and rated perhaps the most spectacular of any falls in the world. The elegant city of Buenos Aires will impress you with its wide boulevards and dynamic activity while the Andes crossing by road from Mendoza to the Chilean capital of Santiago is a highlight.

Alaska & the Canadian Rockies
Overview: Alaska & the Canadian Rockies, together, they embrace North America’s greatest glaciers and ice fields, its highest peaks and mightiest rivers. It is the last true frontier where raw wilderness seems to stretch out forever. And if it could speak, what a story it would tell – from the days of the early fur traders who explored and mapped out the land, to the gold-fevered stampeders who flocked throughout the entire Northwest in their quest for gold. Alaska will make you feel more alive than almost any other place on earth.

St Lawrence River & New England in Fall
Overview: Seeing Canada and New England in the “fall” is seeing nature at its best and most colourful. Our relaxed coach touring programme commences in Montreal before we cross into the USA and wind our way through the New England States. Enjoy the country roads, red barns and covered bridges of Vermont. In New Hampshire, the grandeur of the White Mountains and Mt Washington contrast with the gentility of the small villages and towns that dot the landscape. And in Massachusetts, you will be embraced by its history as one of the founding states of the nation. Back into Canada and enjoy 2 nights at the magnificent Niagara Falls before winding our way through Ontario and Quebec.
On top of all this, the “icing on the cake”, is the 7 night cruise which will take you down the St Lawrence River and into the Gulf of St Lawrence, visiting the Maritime Provinces of Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia before concluding in Boston.

"Sail Away" Cruise & Coach
Overview: This is a variation on our regular Panama Canal cruise in which we bring to you the best of both worlds – days of discovery on board your luxury floating hotel as well as adventures ashore exploring fascinating ports-of-call. In 2012 we changed the order of the tour and it worked well. Starting in San Francisco, we then fly east and visit New York and Washington DC before we join our ship in Fort Lauderdale. We cruise through the Caribbean before entering the Panama Canal and up the Mexican and Californian Coasts. We disembark in San Diego where we spend a couple of nights before returning home.

South America & Antarctica Cruise 2014
Overview: We are delighted to offer this new tour and cruise. The 14 night cruise takes us on a journey back in time as we explore the virtually untouched frozen landscapes of the South America’s Patagonia region and Antarctica. There is no other place on earth quite like it with its vast wilderness of ice shelves and mountain ranges. It is simply breath taking and its unusual beauty will stay with you for the rest of your life. February is ideal weather wise and the best time for whale watching and also the penguin chicks and parents are ashore in vast numbers. All visitors find the experience exceeds their expectations.
But before we join the cruise, we enjoy some of the spectacular sights of Brazil and Argentina that so many of our travellers have enjoyed.
